Money Mindset Office Hours

How many times have you met with a client and you end up talking about relationships, family dynamics, and emotional concerns rather than the money?

How comfortable are you in these situations?

This is an opportunity to talk through challenging client situations with a professional who specializes in communication, relationships, wealth transfer dynamics, and money. Bringing in a different perspective to enhance, not replace, can make all of the difference in terms of quality experiences for your clients.

Frequently discussed topics include:

Client motivation and getting clients to take action.

What to do when one person in the couple is disengaged.

Recognize and work with client anxiety.

Couples who cannot agree on retirement planning.

Appointments can be regular, monthly office-hours or on an as needed basis. This service is appropriate for small groups or teams to discuss challenging client situations.

Cost: $175 per hour

Between the Numbers – Vertical Integration Consulting

This is a suite of services to help advisors, planners and firms incorporate, interpret, and apply behavioral finance into all aspects of client engagement - from prospect to discovery to multi-generational, long term clients. Offered on as a one-time appointment or on a regular basis.

Examples of services used by planners include:

  • Providing financial psychology assessments to identify client money scripts at the beginning of onboarding new clients - and discussing the results with both the clients and the advisor as a seamless part of the process.

  • Meeting with clients who would like to look at their own money beliefs, offering a meeting with a specialist who is considered to be part of the team.

  • Providing monthly newsletter articles for staff and clients on a pertinent financial psychology and behavioral finance topic. For example, “How adult ADHD affects money management “ or “Financial dependency and enmeshment. What they are and how to address them.”

  • Attending client meetings with advisors to address any behavioral and relational concerns in the moment. This takes the burden off of the financial professional, so they can focus on their area of expertise.

Prices will be discussed during the initial phone call.
